About Me

Executive Advising for Nonprofit Leaders and Philanthropists

I have 17 years in the nonprofit community as an executive in areas of development and fundraising, as a President, and with intermittent years as an independent consultant. I work out of the East Bay in Northern California, but my client base is national. I’m happy to make my full resume available to you upon request.

My cultural upbringing plays a huge role in my professional life. I identify as: a disabled, Lipan Apache/Mexican American woman, queer friendly, a child abuse and domestic violence survivor, coming from a rural working class background but now living a middle class educated life. These combined experiences give me my ethical lenses with which to do my work.

Last but not least, I share a home with one senior feline named Chapulina.

You can read a little more about my personal philosophy of giving in this article from Bolder Giving in Extraordinary Times, and you can also watch this interview of me on the KTVU News.
